PRESS RELEASE - ELUSIVE BREWING ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION WITH READING'S RABBLE THEATRE

Elusive Brewing (Finchampstead, Berkshire) is pleased to announce they have brewed a beer in collaboration with RABBLE Theatre to celebrate their production of Henry I which will be staged in Reading’s Abbey Ruins in June.

Founded by a home brewer who went on to win awards at national level, Elusive Brewing has been producing award winning beers from their base in Finchampstead since 2016, creating beers with one eye on tradition and the other on taking things to the next level.

Since 2012 RABBLE Theatre has become central to reading’s cultural life, staging unforgettable stories in fascinating spaces, inspired by and created with their diverse community.  RABBLE Theatre’s education program is accessible to all, driving skills, helping people develop their careers and building RABBLE’s community.

Chaos of Succession will be a light and approachable Golden Ale, brewed with UK grown Admiral and Mystic hops which will add delicate notes of citrus and blackcurrant to the finished beer.

Ruth Mitchell, Managing Director of Elusive Brewing said “We are thrilled to be teaming up with RABBLE Theatre on this project and hope this beer enhances what we are sure will be an amazing performance.”

Toby Davies, Co-Artistic Director of RABBLE Theatre commented “We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with Elusive Brewing on this gorgeous new beer. Henry I, who is buried in Reading, devoted his life to establishing peace, but what he actually left was the Chaos of Succession.”

Chaos of Succession will launch at The Grumpy Goat (Union St, Reading) on Friday June 9th 2023 and will be available to purchase at RABBLE Theatre’s performances of Henry I from Tuesday June 13th.  The beer will also be available at venues across Reading and to purchase from Elusive Brewing’s Taproom and webshop.

Ends.
