COLLABAGEDDON 2021

Collabageddon Header 2021 JPG.jpg

Collabageddon is back!  Now in its 5th year (but 4th time of happening, you may have noticed that last year as a bit of an anomaly all round) our collaboration brewing project makes a welcome return.  This year we have 12 brilliant breweries taking part to brew delicious beers that will be on sale in 20 awesome venues across the country. This year’s event takes place on November 19th (Andy’s Dads birthday!) - make sure you have the date in your diary, you are in for a real treat this year.

THE BREWERIES

Almasty Brewing Co

First on the list are the brilliant Almasty Brewing Co from beautiful Newcastle.  We especially love their hop forward Pale Ales and punchy IPAs.

Ampersand Brew Co

Next we’re off to Norfolk with Ampersand.  Our Andy first met Andy and Amy when they invited us to pour at their festival in Norwich. We fell in love with their beers and branding and it’s been great to watch them flourish, having recently expanded into new premises!

Brew York

Heading north we are thrilled to have Brew York as part of this year's line up! We loved brewing with them (in a three way collab with The Beer O’Clock Show!) back in August and are sure they will bring their trademark big flavours and killer puns to the party.

Fyne Ales

Next we’re off to Scotland to one of the most beautiful brewery locations we have ever seen. Nestled on a 4500 acre estate in rural Argyll, Fyne Ales are renowned for producing exceptionally well balanced beers in modern styles and we are seriously excited to have them on board!

Leigh on Sea Brewery

From Scotland to the Essex seaside! Andy & Ruth have been friends with Matt from Leigh on Sea for many years and are really pleased to get to work with him and the rest of the team this year.  We’re just jealous we won’t get to go for a day out with our buckets and spades.

Leviathan Brew Co

On to the youngest & smallest of this year’s line up - Birmingham's Leviathan started brewing during lockdown and Chris really hit the ground running producing some seriously brilliant beers.  We're excited that more folk will get to try them soon!

Neptune Brewery

Up next we have Liverpool's fabulous Neptune Brewery! Julie and Les champion no nonsense, high quality, supremely drinkable beers.  We’ve loved brewing with them in the past and can't wait to try the two brews they are involved in this year.

Runaway Brewery

Now a quick hop across to Manchester and the legendary Runaway Brewery - an unsung hero of the Manchester brewing scene. Andy has been a fan of Mark & team's beers for many years and is especially excited to have them as part of this year's event.

Turning Point Brew Co

Off to Harrogate and Turning Point Brew Co next.  We first met the Turning Point team at Craft Theory in Reading (when they were brand new!) and have loved seeing how they have grown over the years since. Well deserved success for lovely people who make some stunning beers!

UnBarred Brewery

Down to Brighton now to long time friends of Elusive, UnBarred.  Andy and Jordan first met as home brewers and like us their brewery is the (excellent) result of a much loved hobby that got waaaay out of control! (You can find out a bit more about this here.) We're huge fans of them and their beers!

Zapato Brewery

Last but not least we have Huddersfield's Zapato Brewery.  Andy first met Matt when he managed Leed’s legendary North Bar many moons ago. As an industry veteran, he is a fount of beery knowledge and it’s great to see his own venture thriving.  They're brewing seriously impressive stuff!
